Arrow Electronics Signs Distribution Agreement with Object First to Strengthen Veeam Storage Offerings Across EMEA

Collaboration adds on-premises immutable storage to Arrow’s portfolio in support of mid-market Veeam partners 

BEVERLY, Mass - April 14th, 2025 — Arrow Electronics has signed a distribution agreement with Object First, the provider of Ootbi (Out-of-the-Box-Immutability), the ransomware-proof backup storage appliance purpose-built for Veeam. 

Arrow will distribute Object First’s solutions to channel partners across selected European countries, with a focus on mid-market customers. Initially, the contract covers Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden, with plans to expand across EMEA. 

Object First’s Ootbi delivers a secure, simple, and powerful backup storage solution that’s purpose-built for Veeam environments. With a strong focus on mid-enterprise businesses, it adds ransomware-proof immutability by providing a secure-by-default object storage appliance that offers zero access for destructive actions to the firmware, OS, storage application, or data layer.  

The Ootbi appliance can be deployed in under 15 minutes without requiring security expertise and is designed to align with Zero Trust best practices, enabling channel partners to offer secure storage that can easily scale. Ootbi is a powerful backup storage appliance that integrates directly with Veeam’s Smart Object Storage (SOS) API, enabling rapid ingest speeds and supercharged Veeam Instant Recovery performance.
