MUNICH, March 30, 2026 – TD SYNNEX and Object First, the ransomware-proof on-premises backup storage company, today announced a new distribution agreement for the German market. This partnership enables TD SYNNEX’s distribution partners and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to offer their customers highly secure, user-friendly, and high-performance backup storage solutions that protect against the latest ransomware threats.

Object First offers secure, simple, and powerful on-premises backup storage that is completely immutable- and specifically designed for Veeam. Deployment and management of the Object First solutions are easy and require no security expertise. In addition, the solutions are suited for extremely fast backups and instant recovery, adaptable to any business. Object First has been tested and certified for security by independent bodies, protects businesses from ransomware, and makes them more resilient against cyber threats.

Germany has been facing a significantly heightened ransomware threat landscape for several years – new analyses show a clear increase in the number of affected businesses. Nearly 25 percent of German companies fell victim to a ransomware attack in 2025, compared to 18.6 percent in 2024 – the first significant increase after several years of declining figures. At the same time, the use of AI-automated attack techniques is also causing increasing concerns for security managers.
