We are seeking a driven National Sales Account Manager to expand our existing efforts with CDW. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success with CDW, strong relationships, and a passion for achieving and surpassing targets. In this position you’ll build strong relationships with our closest alliance partner, Veeam, drive collaboration and engagement with CDW leadership, sellers, and technical resources through jointly developed strategic plans while supporting our sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed CDW sourced pipeline and Bookings targets (New Business meetings, pipeline $ goals, % of total pipeline, and bookings that are partner sourced, etc.)
  • Develop a go to market strategy that includes agreed upon sales, marketing, and certification goals.
  • Partner with marketing to execute on channel-marketing field events and sales plays that align to your strategy while ensuring ROI in pipeline and bookings growth.
  • Partner with Object First Inside Partner Sales Representatives for follow up, training, and execution on your strategy.
  • Drive awareness, enablement and engagement within the technical pre-sales and the sales org, both in-person, over the phone, via webinars and monthly win wires.
  • Conduct regular sales training presentations with sales teams to ensure they understand Object First’s products and services.
  • Detailed opportunity management and forecasting commits alongside our Sales Organization.
  • Drive sales execution across a cross-functional matrix selling motion with distribution, partner and direct touch inside sales teams.
  • Provide market feedback on win loss, competitors’ campaigns and potential market opportunity expansion.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience and established relationships with CDW selling technology products where you have over-achieved.
  • Driven sales executive that can drive execution through the CDW network to facilitate a one-to-many process resulting in exponential sales growth.
  • Experience working with Veeam and its partner ecosystem is highly desirable but not required.
  • Strong presenter with an ability to help sellers and leaders clearly understand what pain points Object First can alleviate for their customers.
  • Strong follow through post training/events to turn these interactions into pipeline.
  • High energy results driven by an individual that understands to drive fast growth requires the focus to delight CDW teams. Hitting sales numbers is not enough.
  • Knowledge of data storage, data management segments targeting mid-market and mid-enterprise is a plus.
  • Grit; the ability to find success in an early-stage environment without all the resources/teams available at larger organizations.
  • Detail orientated, and someone that owns things to completion.
  • Demonstrable success in driving and creating demand, closing sales, and building effective channel strategies.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to convey information to others effectively and persuasively in-person, by telephone, and in writing so others can understand.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (a combination of education and experience will also be considered).
  • Willingness and ability to Travel 50% of the time.
