VeeamON Tours Toronto

Thursday the 23rd of October, VeeamON Tours touched down in Toronto. As expected, it was a great event. For some of us it was even more special!

My first VeeamON event was in November of 2015 in Las Vegas. I had not been to Las Vegas and while not much of a gambling fan, I was amazed as the plane came in for a landing in this oasis of lights surrounded by the red desert as the sun was descending.

That was my first IT conference, and it had everything an IT conference could offer: excellent training, lots of swag, food, drink and fantastic networking. I proceeded to attend all the VeeamON events after that including: 2017 New Orleans, 2018 Chicago, 2019 Miami Beach, 2022 Las Vegas, 2023 Miami Beach, 2024 Fort Lauderdale and finally, 2025 San Diego. Each VeeamON event was different and uniquely special.

When I heard that the VeeamON brand in the form of VeeamON Tours was coming to my home city of Toronto, I was thrilled.

VeeamON is known for its swag, and this was no exception, picking quality maple syrup to make it an even sweeter experience.

The stage was very cool with comfortable seating and a very flashy background.

It was a full agenda with lots of interesting topics.

The Red Maple Leaf fits perfectly with the VeeamON Tour logo.

VeeamON Tour Toronto was also the first conference after Veeam’s huge acquisition of Securiti AI and naturally there was a session discussing this as well.

I was also lucky enough to be on stage together with other members of the V100 for a panel discussion on the Community.

Object First sponsored the event, and it was very satisfying to bring our message of simple, secure, and powerful pillars to Canadian Veeam customers.

VeeamON Tours is not just an event; it has a brand of its own. At the evening happy hour, we were able to talk to old friends and make new ones. After a day of talking about tech, it is always nice to relax and simply get updates on everyone’s lives and careers.

One can state without exaggeration that the event was a major success.
