Ratmir Timashev is a US-based entrepreneur, technologist, and philanthropist. Ratmir co-founded and previously served as CEO of Veeam, the global leader in cloud data protection and management software, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Ratmir earned a Master’s degree in Chemical Physics from the Ohio State University in 1996, where he continues to champion education and technological innovation across the American Midwest through the Timashev Family Foundation.

Andrei Baronov has dedicated his career to building transformational software products. Before co-founding Object First, Andrei was Co-Founder and CTO of Veeam. Over the last decade, Andrei’s vision and drive have fueled Veeam to become one of the largest private software companies in the world, with sales to surpass $1 billion in 2019 and more than 3,600 employees worldwide before selling the company to Insight Partners in 2020. Andrei’s product and market vision helped Veeam become the backup, recovery, and data management leader.
