We are seeking a results-oriented Channel Account Manager to expand our regional channel sales efforts with select focus partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the reseller channel, strong leadership skills, and a passion for achieving and surpassing targets.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed Bookings and Deal Registration targets with partners
- Drive awareness, enablement and engagement within partner technical pre-sales orgs and sales orgs, both in-person and over the phone.
- Develop a strategic account plan and provide a detailed Quarterly Business Review on plan execution, results and focus areas.
- Initiates telephone and email contact with Partner Sales Representatives from event, web or lead generation lists and cold calling.
- Expand the number of Partner Reps reselling Object First.
- Drives Object First Sales and Technical enablement of the Partner sellers and technical experts.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing organization to create and execute programmatic marketing campaigns, field events and sales plays showing ROI on pipeline and bookings growth.
- Detailed opportunity management and forecasting commits alongside direct touch Sales Organization.
- Drives sales execution across a cross functional matrix selling motion with distribution, partner and direct touch inside sales teams.
- Provide market feedback on win loss, competitors’ campaigns and potential market opportunity expansion.
- Updates and maintains partner account records in Object First CRM system to continuously advance sales cycle.
Who You Are
- 7+ years of Partner Sales experience in a two-tier selling model for technology products where you have over-achieved.
- Driven sales executive that can drive execution through a partner network to facilitate a one-to-many process resulting in exponential sales growth.
- Knowledge of data storage, data management segments targeting mid-market and mid-enterprise
- Detail orientated, and someone that owns things to completion.
- Demonstrable success in driving and creating demand, closing sales, and building effective channel strategies.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities, with a proactive approach to engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to convey information to others effectively and persuasively in-person, by telephone, and in writing so others can understand
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Experience working with Veeam and its partner ecosystem is highly desirable but not required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
- Willing and able to Travel 50% of the time
