Accounts Payable Controller

Job Summary

Object First is an international Group of companies specializing in providing an innovative and immutable backup solution tailored for Veeam backup and replication using object-based storage. We are currently seeking a highly responsible, trustworthy, and experienced individual to join our rapidly expanding global team as Accounts Payable Controller.

What you’ll do

• Oversee procure-to-pay procedures for a group of companies and ensure company’s policies are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
• Setting up new suppliers and following internal controls.
• Accurate invoice matching and resolving of queries relating to PO and invoice mismatches.
• Communicating with company functional employees to check and confirm AP requirements.
• Processing employee expenses in accordance with the Company policy
• Monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
• Dealing with telephone enquiries from internal & external contacts
• Accounts Payable month end and year end processes to support the Management Accounts reporting process.
• Liaising with other teams within the finance function where required.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP and finance best practices.
• A practical understanding of management accounting principles.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate finance accounting/reporting/audit.
• Big 4 audit companies’ experience is welcome.
• Advanced English is a must.
• Ukrainian will be nice.
