We are seeking an experienced and strategic EMEA Leader - Solution Engineering to join our team. In this pivotal role you will lead, organize, staff and empower the EMEA Presales team. Your mission will be to ensure that Object First’s sales and channel teams across the region, as well as the sales and technical teams of our partners, have the presales support they need to achieve their business objectives and drive growth.
Location: Netherlands, Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, and other EMEA countries (remote).
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and directions to her/his team of field SEs and inside SEs.
- Work closely with the Sales Leaders to achieve key sales objectives.
- Be the point of contact between end user / partner product needs and Product Management.
- Monitor and manage the Technical Closure of major opportunities across EMEA by interacting with the teams, the partners and the end customers.
- Ensure that Partners get the right technical skills.
- Plan resourcing to ensure that sales objectives are met.
- Review, coach and develop constantly her/his team.
- Active participation in the EMEA Leadership Team.
Requirements
- Proven track record of 5 to 10 years as a Sales Engineer, a Solution Architect.
- A few years of management of a SE team.
- Extensive technical experience in IT in the field of infrastructure and data management.
- Knowledge of Veeam is a big plus.
- Proving her/his capability to interact with C-level technical leaders either at customers and/or at partners.
- Capability to look for and convince partners to work jointly and openly.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic environments with evolving roles and responsibilities.
- High energy and result driven individual.
- Being available to travel as often as required as direct touch is a key to sales success.
