We are looking for a Director, EMEA Channel and Field Marketing who will be responsible for designing and developing EMEA marketing programs that support our sales strategy and goals. These programs should result in expanded brand awareness, positive engagement with our distributors and partners, growth in our partner network, and contribution to our bookings pipeline across EMEA. You will work closely with the Object First global marketing team, as well as regional Channel and Sales leadership, to identify campaigns, messaging, events, and full-funnel strategies that enable channel sales in the region.
Qualifications/ Requirements
- A marketer with 7+ years of experience, preferably at high growth technology companies, with a preference for security or storage industry.
- A strong leader with a proven track record in people management and success in building, developing and mentoring high performing teams.
- Critical thinker, understanding the foundation of marketing and how growth marketing and channel/field marketing work together to drive business momentum.
- Experience with full funnel digital marketing strategies, events, partner and channel marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with the business models of Distributors and VARs, and track record of success working with Distributors to build partner ecosystems, and with partners to enable their staff and conduct “through-partner” marketing campaigns to their customers.
- A strong collaborator, with excellent communication and cross functional project management skills to work with teams and projects both internal and external.
- Ability to travel (~30%), domestically and internationally.
- Detail oriented and can successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously while overcoming challenges and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with Salesforce, Pardot and other CRM and Marketing Automation tools; expertise in partner portal/enablement tools like Impartner.
- Familiarity with project management in Jira and Confluence, or similar tools.
- Preference for location in Barcelona, Spain, but open to other locations in Western Europe.
- English fluency at C1 level.
- University degree in business, marketing or a related field
Responsibilities
- Build the strategy for an integrated marketing plan for EMEA that combines both locally tailored marketing programs and global campaigns and activities into one integrated approach.
- Lead a team of regional channel and field marketers located in different geographic regions supporting the sales and business development organization.
- Collaborate with regional sales leadership and sales teams to understand target customers and partners and go-to-market strategy, working together to align marketing plan and execution with unique geographic market needs.
- Collaborate with gobal communications and growth marketing teams as well as local agencies (PR/Media) to influence in-region strategies.
- Identify and work with Technology Alliance Partners, Distribution Partners and Channel Partners (VARs and service providers) to amplify the message through joint marketing efforts and campaigns.
- Execute in region campaigns, email communications, events, webinars and programs that drive partner recruitment and activation as well as drive demand for net-new and expanded sales opportunities.
- Forecast, measure, analyze and report on the impact of implemented programs and strategies.
- Increase capacity and productivity by creating new processes, training, programs and documentation to support rapid growth, and help us scale globally.
