We are seeking a strategic Alliance Sales Manager to develop and grow our alliance business with Veeam, and other GTM Alliances. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in Alliance Sales or Channel Sales roles and will be responsible for growing the Object First+Veeam Co-Sale motion. This individual should have a deep understanding of how to work with Veeam Sales roles and preferably have connections with the Veeam Sales, Pre-Sales, and Channel Sales Organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Veeam + Object First sales revenue growth across North America.
  • Develop compelling marketing collateral for Veeam team members to promote Object First to customers and prospects.
  • Act as a liaison between Veeam and Object First alliance, marketing, and sales organizations.
  • Clearly communicate Object First’s value proposition in the context of Veeam offerings.
  • Create, manage, and execute joint programs to grow co-selling opportunities between Veeam and Object First.
  • Collaborate with regional Veeam marketing and sales teams to plan and deliver joint initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Veeam regional teams and key resellers to increase Object First’s market presence.
  • Identify and evaluate marketing opportunities offered by Veeam or partners, and manage Object First’s participation in those activities.
  • Manage multiple marketing and sales campaigns from conception through execution and evaluation.
  • Increase the attach rate of Object First to Veeam sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate sales alignment between Object First and Veeam field sales teams.
  • Develop and implement impactful marketing programs for Veeam and Object First partners.
  • Own the execution of Object First/Veeam programs across North America.
  • Maintain and regularly update the Veeam Americas sales and marketing contact list.
  • Provide monthly reports on activities, accomplishments, and results.
  • Track and report on joint initiatives and co-sell metrics between Object First and Veeam.

Who You Are

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America.

Strategic & Business Skills

  • Demonstrated success in strategic business development through partner-driven initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build and execute strategic business plans.
  • Proven ability to create programs and campaigns tailored to multiple audiences, including sales teams.
  • Skilled in developing and delivering impactful programs and campaigns.

Industry & Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of how to work with Veeam in North America.
  • Familiarity with Data Resiliency solutions and experience leveraging them within a two-tier model.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and team motivation skills.

Adaptability & Work Style

  • Comfortable adapting to evolving roles and responsibilities.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision; high energy and self-motivation are essential.
  • Analytical mindset with a track record of applying metrics and ensuring governance.
